Why is it that emo music has cringy lyrics, anf doesn't even have good instrumentals to make up for? This is the only emo album I've heard that's good sonically, with not so bad lyrics. Someone please prove me wrong
One of the worst emo bands I know
midwest emo, punk-ish emo, MCR-tier emo, metalcore emo, it's all equally bad.
idk merchant ships had some wonderful instrumentals AND lyrics
also snowing and E!E!
OP all that I see is you asking to be spoonfed Emo music

I know some good emo bands but Im not naming them
The World Is is definitely on the cringier side of emo lyrically imo.

Maybe you just don't like emo overall, because that's one of the shittiest albums of the genre.
There are far better examples of good lyricism and good instrumentals, or both.

Cuz there the most edgie of all the emo bands brah! Don't you fallow their tumbler? Don't you know they have a trans member? It's basically golden before it comes out because they represent modern feminism!

this band is actually kinda whatever in my opinion. A little boring, but they do have some good moments/songs.

Emo in general is pretty bad. Like there's a reason why every single emo artist attempts to distance themselves from that label and the band they made then. It's music intended for semi-jaded 20 somethings who lead very boring lives but teenagers like it because it's mature and speaks to them. And this is from someone who actually likes Snowing, Castevet, etc. all them LeHigh Valley bands. Shitty lyrics are just par for the course.
Try out Native, they have pretty great instrumentation, as does the aforementioned Castevet. Make Me is great too, but you might not like them.
TWIABP is terrible btw. The golden age of "emo revival" is over and they are robbing the grave.

You don't know much about emo, sorry to say. The noodle guitars along with lyrics about being an emotional male 20 something aren't for everyone. You have to want to feel something, a concept lost on /mu/
My favorites would be e!e!, Owls, Send Away Stranger, etc...

Are you just asking for more Emo bands? This post is confusing me

No imo but it's kind of close to braid which is also confused for emo.
The only problem I ever had with emo was the nasal vocals. I'm glad I got over it and can enjoy the genre.
