nice, I think that's the first time i see this posted on /mu/, great album

I'm a huge sucker for baroque pop and chamber pop so that coupled with the late '60s throwback vibe makes it one of the best releases I've heard in a while. It's insanely catchy and probably the record I've returned to the most this year. I'm surprised the reaction was lukewarm. Alex and Miles do nothing but shine the album imo.
>Probable Depths
I'll have to listen to this. Listened to "Turn Me Around" and it has quite a unique sound.

then I spend too much time here
I remember thinking it was ok when it came out but their performance on james corden really turned me off. Guess I'll give it another chance.

The performance of Miracle Aligner? It seemed fine to me. Late night show performances are always awkward and they never record the audio very well. Or are you put off by the whole lady's man personality? Because it's more satirical than you would think.

>Or are you put off by the whole lady's man personality?
nailed it
I'm almost halfway done and its going down well enough
I'm enjoying their repeated use of Vibraslap. I think Bad Habits is the 2nd song now to feature it. I'm kind of a sucker for it and it seems like it gets used so rarely.
oh wait...they're opening the next song with it? ok this might be going a little overboard.
so far
The Astonishing
you must be at least two hours to play
I wasn't expecting to enjoy Frank's Blonde so much since his last album did nothing for me
Car Seat Head Rest
Trimmed my chart so it only has albums I rated 8/10 or above

>Votum
>Haken
I feel like I'm afraid to give both them a try, since Restoration EP was absolutely brilliant and Metafiction remains as one of my favorite records.
Also, The Mountain is 9/10

New Haken album is not as good as the last 2 but it's still pretty good
