Wildflower imo is the "conclusion" and pinnacle of sound and production experimenting over the past 25 years, and it's all brought together through sampling. It is easily and objectively the most adventurous Plunderphonics album ever released. I wouldn't expect somebody with shit taste like BOC and Slint to understand the production skills and deep emotional feelings that are channeled in this album. Re-visit it sometime. Trust me, I wouldn't put it in my top 3 all time if it wasn't that special

It seems that you value innovation and experimentation over music. It's a good album, and it's definitely interesting, but it has more than a few weak points. The melodies and hooks on these songs kinda just fizzle out sometimes. I really don't care for the rap features either. It seems like they were added just for getting attention to the album; Frankie Sinatra might have actually been an ok song if they had maybe one Danny Brown verse and did more with the instrumentation. My biggest complaint is that it feels empty compared to SILY, so much fewer samples and variation in sound.

SILY is my #5 btw

A lot of people really love OKC, and I'm definitely more of a Kid A fan.
I feel like the album takes a distinct turn for the worse after Fitter Happier. Not that I don't like it, but it certainly falls short of 10/10. Am I missing something in the remainder of the album?

Yeah, I'm kinda only sort of getting into music right now, but I really don't see those top 3 going anywhere. Their sound just really gets me in all of the right places. I've got a feeling that, if anything, when I finish KC's discog, one of their other albums will take the place of ITCotCK, or something by Yes might.

I have no shame. It's a fucking stellar album that I refuse to "outgrow". The themes of mortality, revenge, and lamenting the past are captured with perfection, the polyrhythms and riffs in the songwriting play out perfectly in accordance with the sound each song goes for, and the performances are just charismatic and energetic as hell. It's just a good album imo and I have no complaints with it

Yeah, I agree. The two tracks that I really didn't like on the album are Hot Head and (I don't know why so many people like this one so much) Ring A Bell. But other tracks like Three Bedrooms and Spikes more than make up for them in my opinion.
