Have the chance to see Animal Collective in a month, definitely going but is there any concern for disappointment?

I've seen what i could on youtube and they seem like sometimes they are all over the spectrum from great to really off pitch vocally (see the Letterman set is a lot more tame compared to off pitch yelling), doesn't matter to me either way I can get down to it just want to know what to expect.
