I get my taste from youtube sidebar suggestions and randomly downloading albums I've never heard of from soulseek
If /mu/ recommends an album, I feel like there's an 80% chance it's going to be mediocre at best
I like to slow/pitch down vaporwave songs for half hour long sessions of deep daycore ambience
I find mumbling over simplistic guitar strumming (stuff like Slint, American Football, Mineral, Neutral Milk Hotel, Radiohead) unbearably boring. With the exception of Ed Harcourt's Elephant Graveyard, for some reason.
Deathstars' The Perfect Cult is deeply religious to me. It's like a gospel album for the dark side.
I find Deathconsciousness to be uplifting rather than melancholic.
