What does /mu/ think of Arcade Fire?
great imo
Didn't care until I saw them live at the New Orleans jazz festival. They were great, quite like them now
They're from my hometown and everyone around here is obsessed with them, but I really couldn't get into them.

I was there and skipped them, too bad if it was a good performance.

wildly mediocre.
like to a level unmatched by almost any other band ever.
/mu/ hates their guts because they got a Grammy

It was fun - they wrapped up taking a brass band down through the audience to another area where they did some music a little closer to jazz.

overrated hipster "oh look at how many instruments we can play"-core
Funeral is great. Everything that followed is pure Crosley-core.

>like to a level unmatched by almost any other band ever.
If mediocrity was never matched by any other band, then how do you know Arcade Fire was mediocre to begin with?

Fantastic band even if their image is contrived.
