Just because something comes from the same country as something else doesn't mean they are related.
Are we now to asume that everyone who isn't american but likes hip-hop also likes Disney movies with autistic fervour?
>>68618738
what are you gay!!???
I honestly don't think so.

Sadesper Record is some crazy kind of industrial DnB meets shoegaze meets that one kind of electropop that Japanese people make
both Boris and Shonen Knife get gazey at times
A great starting point is the compilation album Half Dreaming. It's bands from all over asia and not just weebland.
There's also the mbv cover album called Yellow Loveless on which various Japanese bands cover Loveless. There's a Korean equivalent called Blue Loveless, which I prefer but you asked about Japan.
Mikgazer Vol. 1 is a good Japanese shoegaze compilation featuring Vocaloid vocals. Don't be put off by that. The production is excellent.
Meeks did an album of Beatles covers called Beatless that is fantastic. As a longtime Beatles fan who doesn't usually like them to be fucked with, I really respect this album.

haha
yeah
oh well
sometimes artists change direction or become more commercial
take it or leave it
>>68620351
I know, I still like them but it kind of feels like a waste of talent knowing how good they can be.
>>68620252
I'm guessing you're talking gutars so:
>A very clean amp
>guitar woth bright tone, possibly songle coils
>fuzz
>reverb, any and all kinds. They stack pretty well
>delay, one analog another digital
>chorus or flanger
>other effects that do a lot to color a guitar's sound
These are the staples.
is it pronounced Sh-o-gaze or sh-u-gaze. plz help im retarded
>>68620465
Shu-gaze. Because when performing you stare at your shoes.
>>68620465
shugazi
>>68620465
It's pronounced like fugazi
>>68620447
I have a Fender Jazzmaster
And a fender mustang amp
>>68621057
Doing very well so far.
Get a fuzz and delay in your price range and you will be set. Build your pedal board as you make money.
>>68621085
Well if I hook up my pc to the amp it can have preset effects.
Pic related
>>68621282
That would work. Live response might not be as good but it should sound fine in the playback. You've got enough to get started, still would suggest investing in pedals down the road.
Have fun man. Shoegaze is a good time.
