I've never opened one of these threads
it's far more autistic than i expected
>>68598593
I, for one, have yet to open that .rar, so I'm not totally lost yet
>>68598593
I honestly don't understand how anyone on this planet could be so invested in a soulless review site, to the point where they collect among hundreds of files relating to them.
>>68598719
You must be new to /mu/.
>>68598719
If you think that is bad, look up "The Philmarilion"
Will American Football LP2 get a 9.0 or higher?
>>68598719
>he doesn't know about the /sp/ UTV stalker
>>68599328
Gonna be either a 5.9 or a 6.1
>>68599411
that's what >>68599256 was talking about
>>68599256
Oh god. It's easy to track a tripfagger but that's still some dedication.
>>68599421
hell nah - 8.5+
>>68599682
No chance of that. They're not gonna Blueberry Boat this one.
>>68599763
>They're not gonna Blueberry Boat this one
sounds like a sex act desu
>>68599328
It's going to get an 8.6, same that the reissue of LP1 got. LP2 is not functionally better or worse than LP1, and Pitchfork is going to recognize it as a great sequel and followup without changing much. If LP2 came out two years after LP1, I think Pitchfork would severely reduce it, but given the length of time and hype, they're going to say it didn't go under or above expectations - it exactly met them, and that merits the 8.6.
No American Football. BORING!
NIGHTLY RUNDOWN
Jimmy Eat World 7.3 by Ian Cohen
Say Yes! A Tribute to Elliott Smith 6.0 by Stephen M. Deusner
Meshuggah 6.5 by Saby Reyes-Kulkarni
Axis: Sova 6.7 by John S.W. MacDonald
>>68600228
P4k typically has a hate boner for Jimmy Eat World so I might just check out their new album after all. At the very least I'll listen for the nostalgia
>>68600404
Yeah, I'm really surprised that Jimmy Eat World would come back and Pitchfork would give it a 7.3
>>68600426
I just reread their review for Bleed American and it reads like the band came and fucked Ryan Schreiber's mom in front of him so this must have really been a comeback
>>68600458
Yeah, I understand it's music criticism and there's a lot of passion in it but sometimes they need to cool it and realize they're talking about recorded sound.
Jimmy Eat World is patrician now.
>>68600404
>>68600426
I was listening to it today. It's easily their best since Futures. Might be even better than Futures.
>>68600404
when p4k did their "peoples list" i remember that Cohen said Bleed American was one of his fav albums of the past fifteen years. So he probably pushed for it
