I'm sure there are other terms or words made in the classical era that you could pick one and use like "kino" for movies or "ludo" for games

Albums arent necessarily meant to be listened in the order the tracks are arranged in and dont necessarily follow a theme or narrative which is why I specified.

Ziggy Stardust and Heroes are both good albums but Ziggy Stardust has an arc and a flow that isnt present in Heroes. Or is that all just pretentious bs? I liked Ziggy Stardust and wanted to find albums that do similar sorts of things to it

The modern concept of albums people have for the past 50 years are a bit pretentious bs. However, operas could be considered "concept albums" to a degree so I am probably shooting myself in the foot in that argument I apologize for trying to derail the thread and shitting it up with an opinion.

David has a few. Aladdin Sane, Diamond Dogs, Outside. I wouldn't call Ziggy Stardust a lite-concept album, in that the songs are thematically related but it doesn't necessarily follows a coherent narrative. You could also consider Blackstar a concept album, from a certain point of view.

Downward Spiral as mentioned, The Fragile, Year Zero.

Biophilia, Vulnicura.

Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals, Holy Wood.

Random Access Memories. Probably Discovery as well.

Strange LIttle Girls, Night of Hunters.

I think The Fragile came really close. I would call it a master piece, but when it came PURELY to the concept and how it delivered it, Downward Spiral definetelly won that.
