Why doesn't this get as much love as F#A# and LYSF?
>>68572112
It just wanst that good you know
>>68572134
but it's raelly good
It does. You just haven't been PAYING ATTENTION PAYING ATTENTION PAYING ATTENTION PAYING ATTENTION PAYING ATTENTION PAYING ATTENTION PAYING ATTENTION PAYING ATTENTION PAYING ATTENTION PAYING ATTENTION PAYING ATTENTION PAYING ATTENTION
subpar if I'm being totally honest with you
S'good, but lacks any truly defining or memorable features. F#A# has an incredible atmosphere while LYSF has that plus dope bursts of life/releases.
I know I like 'Rockets Fall' and 'Redeemer part 2,' but couldn't give sing you a passage from either off the top of my head.
well there's a thread every day asking why it doesn't get praised enough that's gotta count for something
>>68572708
also a lot of people tend to only listen to an artist's most acclaimed album so they don't even try it
>>68572112
Only good song is Rockets Fall
>>68572112
Because it doesn't leave as big a first impression. But it's every bit as good
Its good but their worst
Hell even Behemoth is better
>>68572112
better than infinity better than asunder better than ascend but not as good as LYSF
>>68572112
Because pitchfork gave it a low score.

Get out

I'm not sure. It's pretty damn amazing. The music manages to be completely dark on its own with no samples (except for the ending of the vinyl version), and it's probably their darkest work ever. Right off the cusp of 9/11, George Bush Cut Up While Talking is a helluva way to end that kind of album.
Because Albini is shit

THE RAINDROPS
THE RAINDROPS
THE RAINDROPS
THE RAINDROPS
THE RAIN DROPS
one of my favs, it's so good.
>>68573714
Behemoth is superior to almost every track just because
>40 minutes of brutality
>>68575004
Basically this.
Albini is a hack.
>>68572112
yanqui is amazing. Own it both on vinyl and cd
>>68572112
Never start out with F#A#, it just gives you impossible to reach expectations for what the rest actually have to offer.
