Garage rock is like covers city esp once you get into all those tireless comps of groups that only made like one promo single ever. Think Nuggets but there are other really dope ones like Mindrocker and Rubble Collection

Loads of groups covered "Keep Me Hanging On" in the Vanilla Fudge style, "Stepping Stone" got recorded a lot too i think. Here's a good Love cover I found it's not really garage but it's 60s psych which overlapped a lot.
