You understand why it's so praised though, right? Like why it's as important of an album as it is? I feel like as long as you understand that, you're good. But still..
Listen to it as loud as you can, if you still don't enjoy it even a little bit, you should probs just kys.
But hey, you don't have to listen to me. I'm just some stupid bird
>>68569309
Listen to it again. Louder, with headphones, possibly with more THC in your system
>>68569187
you mean best shoegaze since On Fire, right?
>>68571016
I can totally understand where you're coming from on that, and I really like that album.
Overrated though

How could you cringe at that instead of appreciate it? I'm willing to bet you don't think death grips are cringy at all

how is either one cringey? maybe latter day death grips vocals are a little cringey, because stale, but that shit was fresh af when it first came out. i heard guillotine and thought 'holy shit what is this?'
i guess the only things that make me cringe about vocals are (a) obvious imitation, (b) disingenuous emotion, (c) air of pretentiousness, and (d) preachy/message-y lyrics. I don't see that any of those apply to ride's vocals (i think the lyrics are more nonsense than cringe but admit they have moved in a cringey direction over the course of the bands career)
>>68571261
i threw the "nails on a chalkboard" analogy to avoid confusing dumb fucks like you
i'm not talking time machine modulus cringe, i'm saying the way her vocals sound on some songs like Fell in Love makes me involuntarily wince. the fuck am i supposed to do about that?
>>68571193
this
>>68569309
Poor guy
>>68569187
This album is boring and sounds like every other dream pop album.
