Too many pluses to list. Definitely get on Morton Feldman, Terry Riley, and Phillip Glass if you like Reich's Music for 18 Musicians.

Great stuff. From Feldman I've only heard For Philip Guston but I'd love to check out some more stuff. And as far as Glass goes, I've heard a few of his pieces that I've had to study in music school. Haven't heard much of Terry Riley at all though, will have to investigate.

I recommend Piano and String Quartet. It's kind of spooky, like something you might hear out of some 40s detective film. Feldman, in my opinion, is a little more abstract than the other ones I listed. Steve Reich uses a lot of repetition and dynamics in his work. Feldman's works tend to be more patient in the sense that there are a lot of spots where nothing is going on. Still, all four of them offer unique takes on minimalism and I enjoy all four of them.

Have you listened to a lot of Miles Davis's works? If you haven't, check out his other stuff from the Columbia years like Porgy and Bess and Sketches of Spain, Miles Smiles, Filles de Killimanjaro, etc. There's a lot of variation during this period in Miles's career.
If you're into the free jazz elements of A Love Supreme, there's a lot of Japanese free jazz musicians like Satoko Fujii, Otomo Yoshihide, and Tatsuya Yoshide, to name a few.
For Candy Claws, check out Sound of Ceres. It's Karen and Ryan as a duo doing similar music.

Made a mistake here. His name is Tatsuya Yoshida. You might recognize him from Ruins, Japanese noise rock band. Kills it on the drums.
