The Kid A of indie folk?
it didn't really add any elements of indie folk really, whereas Kid A added lots of rock elements and combined it into the sound
29 #Strafford APTS is really the only indie folk song on there, but it's much like Optimistic being almost the only straight up rock song on Kid A

It's like Kid A in that it's an ostensibly commercial artist rejecting his genre-of-choice for a less radio-friendly, electronic style. But I wouldn't call it "The Kid A of Indie Folk"

agreed, it's the only song on there I would say I really like

nigga that's not even his best album
Kid A was almost good though
Don't know his music at all and don't think I'd like it, but I don't understand how the cover isn't cringe-worthy, "look at me, look how occult and esoteric I am" juvenilia. Is it a joke?
>>68413919
I think it's more of a mockery to esoteric themes and symbolism, just how much he sturates both the lyricism and the aesthetics of the album
>>68413815
You're right, but it's still miles better than anything Bon Iver has done.
>>68413969
Nope lmao kys
>>68413377
His voice is so fucking annoying holy shit all the auto-tune just makes it worse
>>68414971
annoying voices are a pleb filter
