Maybe I'm pleb for saying this, but I love track 6 & 7. But hear me out.

To me, it's orgasmic, apocalyptic, futuristic, arcane, cosmic and maternal to me. It's the deepest expression of love and the most eldritch of lovecraftian horrors. A dreamscape brought into the real world, a portal to the great beyond. An eternity made up of a single moment.

In short, Nirvana. The end of this album is Nirvana. Wolfgang Voight has ascended to heaven and returned to the Source of all things with this album.

The rest of the album is great, too, but it's just the journey to the summation of perfection at the end.

Sorry for being pretentious, but these two songs are what I fall asleep to every night, and what I fap to every time. I leave them on loop for hours a day sometimes. I've had a long time to let them sink in and explore their depths, and this is what I discovered.

Absolutely false. I love me some of all 3 of those artists for sure, all of them are definitely iconic, maybe even more iconic and well revered than Gas amongst electronic listeners, but Voigt's music has a lot more emotional and textural appeal to me.

While I get what you're saying as a Gas fan it is kinda annoying that Pop is the only one ppl know when the others are great too, but Pop is absolutely his best album. It's both more beautifully ethereal than most of his other albums has way more range. Zauerberg actually may have more range but the compositions are more similar to each other. IMO.
