Just listened to this for the first time, and sitting in awe.
What do i do with myself, and where do I go from here?
Electric Counterpoint
Music for a large ensemble
Also new to Reich
I listened to Sextet Six Marimbas after this, it's really good as well
>Where do I go from here
Listen to it again?
you can try györgy ligeti and maybe you'll like him too.
Atmospheres by him is pretty neat
Drumming is my favorite Reich work so get that.
I haven't even listened to the full recording and the album is already on my Top 100.
Which half is better btw? First or second?

In C
or Philip Glass - Glassworks

What's wrong? It was such an intense experience that I had to stop the album and haven't found the right time to listen to it again.

?
Anyone here listened to this? It blew me away first listen. Really creative and adventurous vocal piece

more Minimalism, maybe. Glassworks by Philip Glass is considered one of the most accesible records
sextet, city life, six marimbas, piano phase
Anything, honestly. I love Steve's music. If you want more stuff like Music for 18 Musicians listen to Music for Large Ensemble, Drumming, Music for Mallet Instruments, Organ & Voice.

Only if you are ready:
Klaus Schulze - X
Both are my #1-2 for 1978
