you asked me yesterday about tim hecker but I was too sleepy to reply
idk I find him a bit too droney for me, I prefer smoother stuff or something with beats maybe

what do you think of Fennesz? If you haven't heard him I'd rec Endless Summer
>X
supreme taste, fantastic album, tangerine dream are great too. You're missing Cluster though
>>68385034
Virgins and Haunt Me > Ravedeath imo
>>68385183
I've listened to Magma's early shit but I still need to listen to K.A. Is the sound significantly different?
>>68385183
Have you heard CT quartet - Nailed?
>>68385386
it's significantly less dark and ominous, uplifting at times even.
>>68385403
ooh no,but looking up that lineup is hyping. Taylor with Oxley is something I enjoy a lot
>>68385403
why do you like ultra-long compilations so much
>>68385439
that definitely sounds like I'd enjoy it. I'll try to give it a listen at some point today
>>68385542
music
>>68385150
ok-ish
>>68385640
>>68385439
also since you enjoy Magma you should check out this Italian zeuhl-inspired prog album I found the other day, Ys by Il Balletto di Bronzo. The performances are hectic and technical, and the sound is amazing.
>>68385651
hell yeah
>>68385403
I almost dlded memorias musicais the other day
but then I said nah maybe later
I do like this other choro compilation but I forgot the name
thanks for reading
>>68385386
Havent listened to fennez in a long time
as for Cluster
I like them but I'm still to listen to the Kluster early stuff comp that sounds great from the bit I heard
>>68385183
nice ass
>>68385034
Montie /10
>>68385708
Balletto di Bronzo is a pretty big name, I enjoy Ys but not any of their other stuff. I don't know if you could really say it's zeuhl-inspired, it's somber, operatic and firmly prog rock, but I am not sure how likely it is they took direct influence from Vander & co
>>68385668
haha is that mercury rev cover seriously considered unsafe enough to block it?
>>68385736
thanks u2
>>68385873
I guess. I don't have an age set on my profile and I don't really care enough to change it.
>>68385873
that's the only one I've heard but I may check out their other stuff soon. I didn't mean for it to be a comparison to Magma, I just thought it'd be something you'd enjoy along the same line in essence. Meh, I think it sounds decently inspired by zeuhl with its pacing and gimmicky scale-ups and downs

staygold my dude, how've you been?
I deleted my ratings because I'm re-rating everything. I'm just here to tell stay hello.
>>68386558
My good friend stay, hello! It's me, bkb! Nice to see you dropping by these parts.
>>68386595
I've been very good. Still at school doing audio/computer science shit. How are you?
>>68386642
I'm rating your account 0/10 anyway
>>68386642
Hi bkb! Sorry im never around anymore ;_;
>>68386498
why future days and not ege o tago?
>>68386749
because it's better
>>68386800
yes, i don't want to refute you or something, i just want to know why do you think is better
better songwrting?
better vocals?
better production?
why?
>>68386666
Been doing the same, I guess. I've been pretty good actually.
>>68386847
Heh.
It has better songwriting than tago Mago, without sacrificing the Can jamming like most of Ege, it also features their best song, Bel Air.
>>68386937
>>68386666
Oh yeah, i forgot, nice satan quads.
>>68386937
the album is too quiet for me, sometimes i feel like if the guitars and all instruments were just whispering
tell me please, what am i doing wrong?
>>68387168
Classic /mu/ conumdrum
The solution? Listen to it louder
>>68387168
That's kind of the appeal of it.
Maybe the album just isn't for you, and in that case you're wrong and have awful opinions.
>>68387168
It's meant to be a very somber record that aims for atmosphere rather than jamming.
I didn't get in on this yesterday so
How about these?
