I like it a lot, but I think people exaggerate how depressing it is. That's what probably leads to the perspective that /mu/ overrates it. Sloop John B, These Times and Caroline No are sad, of course, but I don't understand how every track is supposed to make me cry (especially the title track!), I guess it's like Low by David Bowie where the upbeat instrumentation impacts me more than the lyrics.

Also, Don't Talk is my favourite song from the album
