It's alright, I think it's a better album overall than Viet Cong but Viet Cong had better songs, nothing on Preoccupations touches Continental Shelf, Silhouettes or Death

At first I didn't like it but I think it's pretty good now. Vocals are worse but the instrumentation is a nice change from their previous stuff. It's good to see they aren't making the same album over and over again as they could easily do and still have a fanbase

It grew on me. I really like it.

Peorccupations is good, it's just that Women as a band were amazing and Viet Cong was also very good

This, pretty much. The darker atmosphere and heavier instrumental focus gave the album more of a surprisingly adventurous feeling compared to the more visceral noise of Viet Cong. Personally, I prefer the new album, though both of excellent in their own rights.

It's an okay name but Viet Cong was so much better. Then sheltered libtards that don't appreciate art happened. You should check it out though it's a pretty solid album, albeit less interesting than their last

Right now I still prefer VK, but Preoccupations is still pretty good.

Not as good as their debut imo but still a good album.

The parts that weren't drone, bretty gud. Unfortuneatly it's like 20% drone. I'd put this shit on a loop a lot more if not for the fucking drone.
