Green Day's early albums are all about that awkward, "I have no idea what I'm doing" phase we all go through. Kerplunk especially hits home with those lyrics, in songs like Android and No One Knows. Would definitely recommend that album if you want some vintage Green Day, OP.

Honestly Green Day were always really good at writing pop songs so whatever they were saying was always masked because the songs were really catchy. Gotta revisit Kerplunk and slappy hours now
