thats the problem with a lot of arctic ambient though, or arctic themed albums in general, if you had never been placed with pictures of the arctic or whatever then you would never really think they were related to that imo
i find deep frieze to be one of the few arctic themed albums that actually sounds in my mind what the arctic should do

i agree with you, there was an arctic ambient in last.fm group with a lot a of discussion if this album from Emit Records with penguins in the cover could be considered arctic ambient at all, people disagreed over the issue because it was just the label who randomly put nature photography in the covers and the music had noting to do with arctic theme

but the sound is pretty chill though
