the new album isn't great but some of their older stuff (before the newest vocalist) is really good. self-titled ("death star album") and happiness are my favorites.

considering the fact you immediately assumed that a post-hardcore album from 2016 was going to sound anything like them or unwound, i'm going to assume you couldn't name them. i'm not saying there aren't a good couple bands but you're just following what other people say lol

I didn't know what to expect really, when I saw the genre "post-hardcore" I immediately connected it to those two bands as they are my favorites. I think DGD sound incredibly generic because I've heard bands sound exactly like them in the past when I was like 15-16 and the screamo vocals and the overly cleaned up production is just lame and overdone.
