they're not a project I see a lot. I think that's my favorite from them too. it's been awhile since I listened to it, or CTV in general, though. it's sorta minimalist modular synth stuff innit? if you like that have you checked out eleh, alessandro cortini, or fanger & schönwälder?

then check some RYM lists that have your chosen album or just RYM charts in that genre

Yeah I guess they are kinda underrated even in industrial circles nowadays, but they are finest and basically one of the pioneers with TG and all so I don't really know how can it be that they are underrated but yeah, modular synth stuff, really close to techno actually but with an industrial edge and subdued vocals, also lots of reverb.

I only know Cortini off that bunch so thanks, will check the others.

the only reason Working Man's Dick is my highest rated is because both my favorite songs are on there (All That Returns and Descension Song)
but it's definitely a lot less polished than their later releases

el acero del partido was the first I heard and the only one I listened to for a long ass time. recently Tarikat II and Ultraphoon have really stuck with me. I haven't gotten to any of their comps so I'll have to check them out.

phill niblock - hurdy hurry, this is truly drone but it's almost melodica and the hurdy gurdy sound is amazing
