Noise is such a vapid and banal genre.
I can understand the statement that it was making when it just began and obviously there can be value to making noise a part of something with an actual musical structure and actual musical elements(like GY!BE and Animal Collective do, for example), when it's used like that it can actually have an effect on the overall experience.

But listening to only the aimless, shapeless noise itself, the noise that's totally devoid of a point or a goal or something more tangible and purposeful to tie it down to is just dumb. How can anyone find value in this lazy moronic shit? Anyone can just spazz around and shit this garbage out, I seriously doubt the average "noise enthusiast" could even tell the difference between some random garbage made by someone who barely knows what they're doing and some noise recording made by a "respected noise artist" if you made him do blind listens of it without telling him who is behind what.

And the less said about the trite pseudo edgy "extreme" imagery that's so popular in noise the better. It blows my mind that these dipshits genuinely believe that this shit is any better or any more intelligent or provocative than Cannibal Corpse and other retarded bands in that vein.
