What really annoys me are the mexican "reviews" on rym that give it poor ratings for the sole reason that it's derivative, yes its not a new sound but the songs are fucking stellar

Average-ish album, it's literally generic indie pop-rock with weak vocals most of the time, it has an okay song though.

They're right, aside from derivative is just a mediocre album, and no different from the other underachieving indie rock bands from the era like los romanticos de zacatecas, los daniels, dld and all that shit. Even lebaron sounded more fresh back in the day.

The only ones that could pull an interesting indie rock album were San Pascualito Rey in their debut and the original Porter.
