Invisibld hands is so good. I have no idea why, but Ghost crab has such a strong creepy vibe from thd beginning, almost a stoner feel... i love it! :)
>>68300493
I love XII, the harsh lofi static mixed with the acoustic guitar is just an interesting combo with interesting progression.
It also made me interested in the lyrics which I could not follow along, but your voice is telling me that it sounded beautiful amongst te destruction that is, the noise.

this is really different. sort of glitchy chiptune-esque ambient beats. i really like how experimental and exploratory it is. i'll have to listen to it fully while sipping some juice.
>>68300681
the intent is there, but it sort of comes off bland and plain. the minimal approach is definitely interesting, and the mix is done very well, but maybe it just isn't for me. (haus is best track)

Commute, I love the broken insturmental, and your lead synth was a very nice touch. Great work :)
>>68300801
Heyy, Neon waves is really good. It's a rare sight to see, when hearing a chill wave song and having a DIFFERENT insturmental rather than "kick... snare... kick", so I must commend you on that :)
>>68300828
I'd argue, that your genre fucked track Nature Calls is definitely, without a doubt, the best track I have ever heard in a very long time. The overall feel is such amazing trans, with vocals so barely understandable, but they way it was sung, makes it beautiful. Master work with it.

>your voice is telling me that it sounded beautiful amongst the destruction that is, the noise
I'm flattered man, thank you. I think I'm going to ask my friend if he can translate the lyrics to English (he's the poet and writer here, I'm just a neckbeard throwing sheets of metal around and chewing on harmonicas). But I can give you an English version to the prelude's lyrics:
>Star's tears burn slowly
>Soft black chants dancing on its light
>And whilst you are hearing the screaming endlessness
>Don't disturb the Holy Wall's dream
My English is pretty broken, so don't expect this translation to rhyme or make any sense.

this is an unprecedented amount of bass. It's overpowering really, it's like a youtube bass boost. My ears feel stuffy.
>>68300797
This is just a personal thing, but in my opinion if everything is panned then nothing is panned. Be a bit less liberal with your stereo stuff.
>>68300801
Definitely experiment more with low pass filters and detuning to really get that retro analogue feel.
>>68303249
I like this, the track titles make it pretty creepy. Also I appreciate the variance in texture, each track really has its own personality.
>>68303861
First off, fuck your cover art scheme. I hate labels that feel the need to plaster their design on every release they promote, taking away from the original album's aesthetic. You're despicable. there isn't any second off
>>68304855
>I hate labels that feel the need to plaster their design on every release they promote
I think he does it to fill up the remaining space for primarily cassette releases' covers
>>68304914
Okay, so why didn't they forgo the template for this release: https://questionrecords.bandcamp.com/album/validations-in-discord?
>>68304949
Because that white stripe makes the side of the cassette containing the artist, name of album and the label, and unlike other albums, the art continues on the other side of the cover (with cassettes we can't really talk about backcovers)
>>68305008
don't get why the limitations of the tape format have to make the digital cover uglier and can't just be on the physical tape only but ok.

Personally, I like it when the artwork has been fit to the medium. So I use either differently cropped artwork or different artwork when I make cassettes.
>>68305123

>First off, fuck your cover art scheme. I hate labels that feel the need to plaster their design on every release they promote, taking away from the original album's aesthetic. You're despicable.
honestly i love the cover art scheme, it doesn't take away from the album art since that is untouched, right next to it, and it makes all the album art look extremely organized instead of a crazy mess. reminds me a lot of what BYG/Actuel did back in the 60s/70s [pic related].
to me it doesn't feel like part of the album art, more like a compliment to it, since their medium is cassette, and sometimes cropping it into a square won't look as nice.
>>68305123
>Personally, I like it when the artwork has been fit to the medium. So I use either differently cropped artwork or different artwork when I make cassettes.
THIS, i try to always take the pictures i use for album art vertically so that if i ever make a cassette release, i have a perfectly fitting version of it ready to use.
>>68305228

I think this makes the album look a bit bland and not like a thing of its own. It makes it look like a specimen preserved in a vitrine.

>I think this makes the album look a bit bland and not like a thing of its own. It makes it look like a specimen preserved in a vitrine.
true, i see your point. personally i just like the minimal style of it, plus the convenience of having it properly organized and still having its respectful art.
