What are some bands that managed to invent their own genre? I know Cardiacs invented pronk,and Magma invented zeuhl. What are some other examples?

I make a new genre every day-every other day usually. Latest creation: Vexchill. Trip hop meets semaphore. I'm putting the final touches on the album as we speak.

Did you manage to make Post-Post Hip Hop?

I'm starting a band where we have a trombone player that mics his trombone into a guitar pedalboard and does a bunch of shit there. We call it "Ska-Gaze".

i'm currently developing ocean-wave (name WIP)

it's like exotica raga with casio keyboards and primitive tribal drums if recorded at the bottom of the ocean with sea critters crawling all around. I'm currently planning to move into a storage space with my keyboards, a jar of beach sand, sea shells, a cd player, CDs of beach ambience, various hand percussion instruments, a Barbie singing star microphone, a tape machine, some food and drinks, and a hookah. Either I'll come out of there with my masterpiece in hand or I'll just die in there. Pls wish me luck in my quest
