Why do you think this album is bad?

You would truly have to be the biggest contrarian pleb alive to think Dark Side of the Moon as bad.

It's not bad but it's just okay, with the exception of The Great Gig in the Sky and the closer it lacks any emotion, the melodies are bland, the lyrics are pretty generic and pseudo-deep.

Overall a pretty decent album but they made many better in that era.

It's popular

Money (while a good song) does not fit with the rest of the album and was put in there as a single to sell records. It breaks up the flow and the pacing.

Its just an allright album. The thing is that even among the pf discog you can find better stuff.

Also, its imagery and concept are loose and delivered in a very blunt and slopy way.

The last two tracks are great.

I don't think it's a bad album. It was just copied by so many people that it kind of sounds bland. I still like it and can appreciate the impact it's had.

It's not bad, but it's mediocre like every Pink Floyd album after Saucerful of Secrets.
