It has nice production but was mostly just dull. The first song was a ripoff of Daydreaming from AMSP then there was a strait samba track and a waltz a the end. Not really memorable or unique

One of his worst reviews. He said that nicolas jaar's SION album came out in 2015 when it came out in 2011, and he said that the album had 5 tracks when it had 6... Pretty sure he barely skimmed over this one.

The pitchfork review was much better and actually dives into the themes and lyrics of the album.

I actually thought this album was mediocre as well but I still think Fantano's review was garbage. Is he incapable of analyzing themes and subtext? How is he not even gonna touch on the political commentary, which is arguably the crux of the album?
