I don't get the appeal of this album. Just seems like a lot of "modern", chaotic, electronic elements thrown in a blender ft. random numbers and doodles. It was purposefully made for the kind of snobby, pretentious teens that frequent this board, so of course you all adore it.

Can someone explain to me why anyone here loves it? I just can't get into it after listening to it a couple times, it really does feel like Justin was dicking around on some electronics for a while with no direction or actual ambition behind it, like why would I listen to this when I can just listen to Age of Adz? It literally just seems like lightweight pussy's Age of Adz for people who aren't interested in listening to something actually boundary pushing and experimental

Serious answer: it's different. It takes albums like these to forward the music industry. When you combine that with the fact it's a beautiful album filled with emotion, it's hard not to like it. Granted, it's not an easy listening album, I wouldn't play this in my car on the way to work (much like Kid A), but it's a great album to sit down and just listen to.

This album is like a beautiful combination between experimental Radiohead, James Blake, and Kanye at his best on 808s and Yeezus.

To me a lot of the sounds on 22 a mill sound perfect. Although I've heard of some of them before, like the vocal effect that Coldplay used on Midnight, it's not only a great album with those effects, but it's a great collaboration and mix of those effects.

Surely the songwriting is ez-pz, but again at times it's off-the-rails.

I mean when you get that goosebump feeling on the first listen you know it's just right, i guess you didnt tho. Goes back to what people say "did it 'click' yet?" although this clicked instantly
