>>68258902
You have a small but very tight-knit circle of friends and are generally awkward at first when meeting new people
>>68258807
You really like doing word game type things like crosswords or trivia

also
>Totorro
what'd you think of Home Alone? I thought it was a technical improvement over John Baltor personally
>>68258774
One of your relative family members is dead but it was a long time ago and you don't think about it much anymore
>>68258729
you play at least two instruments.

Great list btw, First Utterance would definitely be in my top 15 all time
>>68258701
Wow, this is an interesting list. You got into music pretty recently and it's starting to make you a more open-minded person than you were before
>>68258608
You are generally a patient person but quick to anger when things aren't going your way
>>68258590
You hardly ever get angry in public, but get angry a lot in private
>>68258404
Harmlessness was really an underrated album. I prefer it to Whenever as well

You are 25 and smoke cigarettes, and have a type B personality
>>68258266
You're always quick with a joke but emotionally unstable
>>68256740
A relatively simple person. It doesn't require much to make you happy
>>68253919
You don't go outside very much, but you're okay with that
>>
>>68259126
Home Alone is a worse album, it marks Totorro changing from a interesting post hardcore post rock act to just another cheery math rock band.

From a technical standpoint yeah it can be seen as being better, but the actual music doesn't stack up to all glory to john baltor or their EP.

I still liked Home Alone though.

You're very open about what you like and don't feel pressured to posture.
>>
>>68253634
you originally got into music by looking through your dad's collection
>>68253573
>fake train
hell ya man, good pick

You have a very negative worldview but still keep your head high and make the best of it
>>68253445
props for Wormrot, I prefer Dirge tho. Anyway you are of relatively low income but don't need many things so you aren't that bothered by it.
>>68253418
damn son. This is probably a meme post but you're constantly concerning yourself with surface-level problems that in most-people's eyes aren't really important at all
>>68253360
You used to look up to your older sibling but now view him/her as a kind of person you don't want to be
>>68259381
I respect that. I've listened to a lot of uninteresting math rock albums, but Home Alone stood out to me for its relatively aggressive and fast performances, no doubt derived from their post-hardcore and screamo influences. For me it seemed like they stuck to a style rather than straddling two, which for John didn't represent all too homogenous a blend, for me at least. They're definitely good albums though, and I'm pumped for Mexico.

pretty accurate honestly. Sometimes I get influenced before I listen to something if its preconceived to be insanely good or bad, which I'm trying to get better at, but once I have an opinion on something I stick to it
>>68251849
2 Stevie albums and no Rumours? That's craziness to me. Anyway you are open-minded but sometimes confused by really highly contrasting opinions to yours
>>68251652
How is Genesis a favorite album of yours? Not trying to shitpost, being fully honest. I listened to multiple times and enjoyed it, but there wasn't anything all that special about that stood out to me.

You're a very curious person and it's gotten you in trouble in the past
>>68251609
You have piercings and can come off as resistant or isolated but are actually really nice
>>68251530
You only think about the here and now, and not as much about the future
>>
>>68251107
You listen to music primarily to make you feel better emotionally
>>68251596
sorry bud, skipped ya. Big props for Kate Bush. You are in your 30's and have become a very reflective and introspective person, when you used to not be
>>68251057
I'll be honest, I've only heard the Tangerine Dream record, but based on what I see I'll say that you are a very pedantic person constantly concerned with details.
>>68250931
Bluffer's Guide is underrated as fuck, good pick. You are really easily made uncomfortable
>>68250859
You at one point had a big drug or alcohol problem and are currently trying to get past it
>>68250769
You are a very artsy person but have a job in a field that is either unrelated to or actively discourages that frame of mind.
>>68250735
You are always trying to have fun and tend to try to avoid responsibility

Alright that's everyone. You posters that aren't guessing really should contribute, even if just a couple people. It's a lot more fun that way.

>You don't really understand people but you get along with them fine

shit man, that's like spot on. I constantly find myself saying "why the fuck would that person do/say that?"

great taste, by the way. I like all those albums a lot, even though I personally think Have One On Me is way better than Ys.

>You're good at concentrating on things.
lmao with media this is true but with LITERALLY anything else it's the opposite.
Like to the point where I've seriously considered talking to a professional to see if I have ADD.
And even when listening to albums I usually have to be doing something else as well, usually playing solitaire because it's mindless enough that I can still focus on the music.
>>
>>68262426
>>68262504
Also as far as your personality you're cold and detached and you're proud of that in a weird way, though deep down you wish you weren't
>>
>>68262529
What the fuck. How did you nail my personality that well? My best friends and family probably don't know that much. Everyone assumes I like being this way.

>>68262504
That's interesting. your musical taste definitely seems very contemplative, with a lot of stuff that requires you to stay focused.
>>
>>68262235
I dislocated my shoulder a while back, and I've strengthened it to where I'm capable now, but I'm still really tight around the shoulder area. I'll take a look at those, thanks.
>>
>>68262599
For Burzum and Current 93 to be in your top 5 I think you need to be a legitimately cold person, but the Mew and, even more telling for me, Agalloch show that there's a longing for something else there.
And yeah it's weird. I generally like really long, "boring" movies too like Paris, Texas and Andrei Rublev. But when it comes to real life shit it'll take me forever to get shit done. For examples I had to send in my transcripts and a form to get my Strength and Conditioning cert finalized. Should have taken me 30 minutes. It took me a month because I couldn't force myself to sit down and concentrate on it to finish it in one sitting and then I would forget about it for 5 days before remembering I needed to do it. i.e. I'm an actual tard
