What does /mu/ think of bones?

shitty cloud rap
Awful garbage. I seriously get second-hand embarassment when other people say they like it.
Lyrically awful, but he definitely has his own aesthetic and inspired a lot of other rappers. He knows how to choose good beats, and you can feel a musical evolution throughout his career, especially the way he uses his vocals.
PaidProgramming2 is really interesting per exemple. Overall, he never releashed something incredible, but he has the potential to release a hip hop AOTY.
This is an elaborate joke, right?
There's not people over the age of 16 who seriously listen to this shit, is there?
You know that feeling you get when you remember something super-cringey you did when you were in your early teens?
That's the feeling I got when I listened to Bones.

He should do more like this.
Samefags detected
30% good 70% shit
He makes a lot of mixtapes and a lot of it is crap but there's some gems in there
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKslEMhRBCw
This is some good shit and it sounds nothing like his edgelord rap. It's like vaporwave R&b

bones early stuff is good, like his first tape with ethel wulf
he's kind of hit or miss beyond that but i really like the song hdmi

The over-the-top edgy shit is satirical, you fucking retards.

You must have missed Powder.

He should be a singer not a rapper desu.
I like him desu and I don't care what you guys think.
Dirt's his best song and even ASAP Rocky thought it was great. I'd like to see him make a complete 10/10 record because I think he has the potential. PaidProgramming's my favorite.
he's ok never really listened to him much
>>68240979
He has potential as a few of his songs have good moments. The problem is he chooses to just vomit out mediocre mixtapes on soundcloud rather then focus on an actual album

Where I can cop sweatshirt like his?

Try your luck with Etsy.
I listen to Bones frequently and I'm 20 fuck you guys. His music isn't even that edgy compared to shit like $uicideboy$, Ghostemane, etc. At least he doesn't talk about satanic shit or killing people. And the subject matter in his songs isn't that different from that of all the other mainstream braggadocious rappers out there.
I love Scumbag but for some reason nothing else he's made has clicked with me the same way
>>68243282
apparently it was sold on the site that sells his merch but the item is long gone
LET IT BANG!
Better than black music

Powder is literally the worst thing he's done
that feel when bones rapped on my beats in 2012 but i ignored him because i thought he was just some random white kid and now he's more famous than all other tumblr rappers
feels bad man

Rekt
it was right as he transitioned from being 'th@ kid'

lol
now he worked with rocky /wrists
i fuck with him. if you like his shit check out lil peep or $uicideboy$

You produced NEWWHITESHOES nigga?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpgqTOB-_fE
I really like the production on this one.
As for Bones, I don't mind it when he is singing. If he did something like Spooky Black where he sang more, I think I would enjoy his stuff a bit more. He seems like a cool dude though.
Go to bed, Elmo
Royals is a good song
i like him but
$uicideboy$ > Bones
I listened to Bones' 'Frayed' album last week and really enjoyed it, where do I go from here?
>i'm 23 plz no bully

Try Creep, Caves (w/Xavier Wulf), Rotten, PaidProgramming 1&2, and SongsThatRemindYouOfHome. Good, diverse albums with lots of alternating rap and singing and some good features.
>>68240979
RestInPeace is his only good track imo
>>68246497
seeing this i would have ignored him too
