Sol-Angel felt naive; naming a song "Ode to Marvin" and sampling Boards of Canada made her look like a pleb.

True was better, but since Dev Hynes' stuff with Sky Ferraria and Carly Rae Jepsen sound just like it, its strengths were probably his and not Solange's. So I don't have high hopes fo r this.

After listening to a bit: Welp, it's neo-soul, in the vein of Erykah Badu. It's sophisticated, it's respectful, it's well-produced, it's boring. "Weary" is structured so much like the previous track that I can't tell if it's intentional or lazy songwriting.
