as a business model it's got trouble and that seems to be agreed on. I can't imagine it is bad for the artist I'm not sure it is good for the consumer though.

Buying a record and experiencing it or nothing I think.

soulseek being that low makes absolutely no sense though. there is a ton of stuff you can get there and basically nowhere else.
