Some of his albums being meh are just part of the journey with Omar. I do believe a lot of the solo stuff coming out recently has been more akin to Bosnian Rainbows, which I'm content with since I really enjoyed that project.

im kinda ashamed to admit that i like bosnian rainbows, buts its pretty good. seen em live too. i bought sentimental engine slayer and during one of the songs teri got up on my table and smooched it.
never really enjoyed the stuff with ximena, but damn is solar gambling a pretty good album.
