Post-hardcore masterpiece, if their gimmick were just nonsensical sci fi lyrics with no goddamn comics they'd be the goat, shame about their later albums

I honestly think people who like Coheed and Cambria are mentally delayed to some degree, I've never met someone who enjoyed them that didn't have something wrong with them

I like all their albums, have the comics and have seen them live a few times. That being said Colour Before the Sun was probably their weakest album.

I like their stuff, but I wish there was more tonal variety in the lyrics.

I don't see how the comics detract from the music. IKSSE3 is my favorite largely because of how it's obtuse nonsense without the story but then once you know the story it's actually extremely easy to follow along with. Adds another layer of content to the album.
