Everybody is talking about The Beatles but there's this group that I think will blow them out of the water. As soon as they start writing their own songs they'll be unstoppable but right now they're doing old blues covers of Chicago blues musicians like Muddy Waters and Willie Dixon and the like. They sound colored but believe it or not these guys are WHITE. Keep an eye out for this new group called THE ROLLING STONES!

What a strange album/band. I was in the village looking for the latest Phil Ochs record when I ran across this. It totally looked like a legitimate folk album but these guys use electric guitars and sound a little like a rock and roll band. And they don't sing protest songs either. Their songs are about sex and smoking pot. They are raunchy. Some people might not like this band but I think they have great potential. Folk and rock and roll mixing together....... hmmm........ think of the possibilities.........
