Ive grown to hate Tycho with all the same shit he's done. Wouldn't mind seeing him live cause I hear it's solid but I'm not optimistic about this release. Side note: hate this new machinedrum aesthetic

it reminded me of flume too, however the new machinedrum-album has way better songwriting and it's more focused. flume just halfassedly put "lol so weird" sounds together, most of the songs felt like unfinished demos

Yeah I didn't really like skin anyway. Human Energy is a decent dance album. I come in with no expectations as I haven't listened to MD's older work. Some of it is almost AG Cuck-esque but not in a bad way.

I saw him a few months ago, and I kinda' agree. There's no reason for him to be a touring musician other than the obvious financial incentive.

Not all music translates well to a live setting, and standing in a crowd for an hour-and-a-half listening to music that's literally designed to make you sleepy is just stupid.
