this took me 7 attempts to like and it became one of my favorite records

Probably my favorite line from Marilyn Manson:

I used to like those lyrics until someone pointed out how clumsily they actually are all put together and now they just sound really corny to me.

Still think the rest of the song and album is great but that verse really isn't.

Fairly clumsy in that verse given the word unique is repeated so close together. The album as a whole is pretty fantastic, though.
