My vote goes to Guided By Voices, the Pumpkins and Manic Street Preachers.

Love this album.

This. Curve were fucking GOAT. How come no one ever mixed industrial and shoegaze that well ever since? Also, Garbage are Curve ripoffs.
best album from 90s for sure
>>61936833
Definitely Nirvana's best.

Guy you were replying to...
As a huge fan of Curve I've always felr that the Curve vs. Garbage argument was kind of overrated and misplaced. Garbage were straight up pop whereas Curve were much more histrionic with tbeir sound. Much noisier with Toni's vocals buried deeper in the mix. Superficially they sound similar I guess.
Just my thought on the matter.

seriously.
It just seemed like a "oh look two alternative bands with chick singers, lets compare them!"
>>61936905
Idk I like them both but Garbage definitely take some of their aesthetic and mood from Curve, despite being much more acessible.

Amazing album, but England's In Utero was better
