I like these albums. Sort of glitch/ambient with electronic drones.

I like these albums. Sort of glitch/ambient with electronic drones. Though I acknowledge that Gridlock is a bit more rhythmic and so might fall in the realm of IDM.

Are there any classic or highly regarded albums in this vein that I might not know about?

Alva Noto & Ryuichi Sakamoto - Vrioon is my personal favorite glitch ambient album, it's super comfy.
Fennesz's stuff after that one is a lot more relaxing too, I like Venice a lot.
I'd also highly recommend Vladislav Delay - Anima

Oval sometimes sounds like I forgot to turn off Repeat Track on the intro of an album. Murcof is close to what I'm looking for.

I do like other albums from Fennesz and Alva Noto. Transform isn't as layered as I'd like.

I've heard a few of Sakamoto's collabs with these types of artists. Is there one in particular that stands out? I'm not particularly looking for piano stuff but Cendre was okay.
