do you know anything like the third(?) track off wyrd tales, the one with the long spoken word bit about the ghosts of WWII solders? I fucking love that track, it makes the album for me.
also if you haven't looked into gothic americana I find that there is an overlap in the fanbase with neofolk and certian parallels between the philosophies of the two genres. jay munly and the lee lewis harlots, tarantella - esqueletos, and sons of perdition - trinity would probably appeal to you the most.

i have looked into gothic americana, because i'm absolutely in love with Wovenhand's music
i have listened to Munly's albums and that Sons of Perdition album, but i don't remember listening to Tarantella

the band shares some members with slim cessna's auto club but the singer has a lot of latin american influences and it's a lot more ethereal sounding than a lot of other gothic americana bands
