to me it just sounds like generic punk rap

even on GP's great guitar line is kind of flattened by ride's lyrics and delivery. on NOTM every line seems orchestrated, fitting or not fitting with the beat with purpose.

with on gp, and most of jenny death, it seems like he just wrote a bunch of poems with too many words that he just yells really fast

Jd is their worst album, period. Some songs are cool, but as a whole, it is weighed down by the boderline cheesy nu-metal riffs found on many of the tracks.
