For me, the guitar tone is too brittle, but that might be what you were going for. I think you really need a band to back up the rest of the instrumentation, because you've got the concept, it's a cool idea. I like the meat on that lead guitar, and the layering of guitar parts around the minute mark lends the verse a bit of welcome depth.
For a minimal arrangement, it never feels empty. It's a good production.
The vocals are a little too whiney for my taste, and the faint echo isn't doing much for them, either.

Alternative is the only accurate description listed, and unfortunately that genre's not really my cup of tea. But it's a good craft so I support it.

i know i've already critiqued your song, but you deleted my comment, may as well restate it.

the song isn't all that great. the beat is okay, but it's a little cheap sounding. the vocals are drab and not very well mixed. the lyrics are cheesy, repetitive, and meaningless. granted, the song is more centered around atmosphere rather than lyrics, but even the atmosphere is just awkward and unsatisfying.

it's just another drop in the cloud rap bandwagon.

I think this is a bit generic, and it gets a bit boring for me throughout. I'm guessing this is a demo so that's why the vocals aren't so prominent but I'd really like to hear those pushed up. When I do listen to bluesy stuff I like hearing honest emotion and some actual soul backed to it. this sounds robotic and a bit try-hard even the solos. even if you do not have the technical ability, just loosen up, have fun and see where that goes

I just commented on the track about how it's a great song but better mixing would improve it a lot. The stuff on my Soundcloud is just normie shit I've done - I'm more of a blues fan than anything, so if you look at mine you won't be too interested.

when the vocals are up, they should be a bit more up in the mix so it's not so blended... when the guitar is soloing it should be a bit more clear above the instruments, same with the piano being more upfront during it's solo y'know? i'm still learning production as well so I'm kind of in the same boat as you haha

Checked out "Me? Worried? Absolutely!" I like the sounds of it. The advice I can give is that I recommend you use some reverb on the tracks to create a nice sense of space. I've been experimenting with it it's pretty nice as long as long as it's not overdone. What DAW do you you use? I'm using Cubase atm.

yeah I'm in a constant fight with the amount of reverb I'm using, I need to find a nice balance to space everything thing out for sure - thanks. I'm using Logic X. I got used to Garageband from doing a project and school with it and it just kind of stuck. Loving it though! How are you liking Cubase?

FL Studio primarily.

It looks like Cubase has a batch export feature where you could export each track as a wav file. You could then archive them and send me the zip or whatever.
