ITT: Post the album you're listening to right NOW.
Haven't listened to Houndini in many years. It's actually quite good.
Your turn
OP here, I meant to say Houdini, not Houndini.
Pic related, it's p good.
Always liked the name of this band but never listened to them
It's a nice album
Not a big fan of the vocals tho
haven't heard before. pretty good so far
I mean I guess it's decent but I just don't get the hype. The vocals are pretty annoying but the riffs mostly make up for that. Also, the length is a bit much considering the songs are all longer than they should be.
pumped for the new album this year
>>61494452
just learned of their new album not even 10 minutes ago. super excited too
ouroboros is broken specifically
Pelt - Ayahuasca
2 hours of pretty good psychedelic drone.
Love this album.
>>61494469
well did you listen to their other one no one likes that one
>>61494469

I love this album, have not listened to it for a while. I might have come to the realization that it's as good as You're Nothing.
>>61494573
>early 2000s christian alt rock
I've not listened to much of that genre... but, yes, it kinda does.
>>61494040

>>61494040
last time i listened to this one was in high school
>>61494380
maybe youd be a fan of pic related. its one of my favorites right now
>>61494430
I take it you've listened to their first album? If not, definitely the superior album. The first and last songs of decompositions are good, but ATRU is super dope.
>>61494600
I like this album more actually. I think it's one of the best punk releases of the past five years.
GOAT
>>61494040
just cheeling to this classic.
What's everyone favorite tracks from this classic album?
>>61495098
The opening for Pagan Fears always really got me. Also the first Mayhem song I heard so that one.
My brother bought me this a few days ago.
>>61494040
I'm waiting for Painting With to leak.
So sad ;_;
>>61494040

https://futurerecordings.bandcamp.com/album/songs-by-the-tumbled-sea
My first time listening to it
Tubular Bells used to scare me as a kid because of The Exorcist
>>61496756
forgot image
Menores Atos - Animalia
Brazilian post hardcore, something like circa survive meets fugazi.
Too fucking good to be true.
For the 100th time
>>61494040
Love Melvins a lot, Lysol is probably my fav
>>61496689
>IMPALED ON NAILS OF ICE
Still good
I SPOKE TO A MAN DOWN AT THE TRACKS
>>61497162

>>61494040
I just got this from the bottom 1000 thread, it's shit but not the worst ever I guess
Whoops, Tindersticks accidentally made a Hot Chocolate tribute album and I kinda love it.
>>61494040
Man Houdini was a classic.
This shit right here bangs.

This. Also give me those sweet sweet black metal reccs pls
First time, pretty good
>>61496756
>>61496792
the second half is such shit though...
John Coltrane - My Favorite Things
>>61496911
a slightly mathier and much less screamier Thursday... the vocals turn me off, but I like it overall.
>i'm not dissembling, that's my heeeebrew name
>listening to albums
rockists please go
>>61494040
Not sure if I like this or Heroes better so far, but I still prefer Scary Monsters to either.
All the songs just kind of sound... incomplete.
>>61494040
>>61494040
Was watching the movie before but I felt like listening to a few songs from the soundtrack desu senpai
Having fun tonight.
>>61503515
Oh hey, I know that road.
I've always seen this posted in /mu/ threads, but never gave it a chance because I was more into rock and jazz.
It's a great album, especially at night.
It's good as hell
My fave mixtape of last year
almost as good as arise
Blackbear's Deadroses is very very good, my favorite album of 2015.
One of my favorite albums of the year.
>>61501504
I still don't get why people love the stuff Eno does so much. Bowie is great though.
listening to it for the first time and enjoying it a lot more than i thought i would have
>>61504082
My nigga.
>>61494452
Same. The Duplantier brothers are perfectionists when it comes to their craft and the only reason it's not out now is because they scrapped half of it because it "just didn't sound right". Infuriating, but appreciated.
Let the light lead you out
It's just so sharp and clean, probably their most concentrated effort, even more so than Jane Doe.
This album is fucking sweet.
I haven't heard a hip hop album that I instantly enjoyed in a long time and this is a great feeling.
>>61494883
Not OP, but I really like Bullhead
>>61494040
>>61494841

>>61494773
>>61494573
YOU'RE MY STIGMATA
Sinister and catchy. This has so many great riffs and hooks but it never lets up the intensity.
"I AM THAT GODDAMN SON OF A BITCH"
Still one of my favorites of 2015
it's great
>>61494562
excelent album, although i have to admit the concept/cover art are pretty lame and there are a few tracks that are just ok
But the point of no return and streams are unbelievable, not only from the technical point of view, they are also very emotional
When the fuck does this get good? It's boring me to tears.
>>61505373
If you're not interested by thirty seconds in its just not for you.
Really liking it so far
>>61505397
Well fuck it then. Not gonna make myself listen to the rest.
Yeezus, however, is actually interesting me.
>>61494040
Great album anon!
>>61494072
>>61494072
Both Coil and Boredoms are amazing
>>61494452
I like some gojira, not sure if i like this album too much though. it's not "bad", maybe i need to give it another chance though
>>61494562
Haken are not bad but they really sound overproduced and not organic in my opinion, which is a problem many dream theater influence prog metal artists have. maybe it will grow in me in the future, who knows.
>>61494600
I think this album is not bad but, i feel like it's kind of overrated. it's not that spectacular imo
>>61494990
good album
>>61495098
kult, and pretty good
>>61495235
Fantastic album, Swans are absolutely amazing
>>61496356
very good album
>>61496507
It's good but i don't think it's THAT spectacular. i liked rollercoster more... maybe i need to give it another chance
>>61496552
Fantastic album
>>61496792
i think i heard really long ago but i forgot how it sounds like...
>>61497075

>>61497576
It's good
>>61498943
It's good
>>61500012
It's... kind of good but i think it's not inspired enough.
>>61501504

>>61495046
marzuki rules
>>61495046
>>61506385
Holy shit there's actually Marzuki fans on /mu/. I paid $40 for a CD copy of No One Likes A Nervous Wreck because I'm a major Sufjan fan but that album actually turned out to be pretty cool.
Also, have either of you listened to the solo stuff from the singer of Marzuki? I can't remember her name currently but she's on Sufjan's label
>>61506426
her name is shannon stephens. i listen to three of her albums but s/t (2009) is my fav.
>>61506426
No I haven't! I only listened to the Marzuki albums recently since I'm a big Suf fan though I'd had them for a while. Nervous wreck is especially haunting, I really like their sound. Seems even more expensive to buy now (if you could even find it)
Here's Sufjan singing stone.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ci200b27Bgc
I've been meaning to check Shannon out too, she hasn't released that much has she?
>>61494040

>>61508202
>>61496689
That's a good Cringe Son
I didn't know this was an ambient album.
>>61494954
Really hard question. I fucking love the opener and that bass, Simony is really nice, The Lord's Favourite is so weird and unlike what they've done before. But I gotta say Forever, the whole vibe and that final crescendo with horns is really amazing.
>>61498722
>I CAN MAKE IT BETTER FOR YOOOOUU
Pretty good, could be worse but it's less good than I remembered.
Haven't listened to it in a while.
>>61505625
why do people do this
Just listening to this for the first time, first track is pretty good
Cave's singing with The Birthday Party was amazing
