Also, I disagree with the notion that dub techno has been done to death. Like I said earlier, some producers have done dub techno (Vladislav Delay, Deepchord, Demdike Stare, hell even some of Andy Stott's stuff could be considered dub techno) and yet they sound very little like Basic Channel. That shows you how very little there is to the "sound" when compared to other genres like say, house of dubstep. Not bashing either genre btw, I love them both

Dub techno is one of the genres that has been explored the least. Like I've said before, the problem is their rabid fanbase: the second your production resembles even 0.01% of that of Basic Channels, you are dismissed as a Basic Channel clone.

Not sure if Quantec succeeded at anything other than making bland ambient techno, I don't see any innovation coming from the guys at 1XA even though I like their releases and Andy Stott has some elements from dub techno but he has his own sound going on

These are all opinions and you are welcome to disagree with them, however even if we listed all of them, it shows how little has the sound been explored compared to say, the dozens of house and techno producers out there (that don't produce dub)
