You should try complimenting your music with interesting production/instrumentation. Your voice and guitar aren't captivating enough to carry themselves, at least on this album. Lyrics are good, and that indicates that they could be better (i.e. you could become a really great lyricist). The important thing for you right now is to try and match the quality of your lyrics with the quality of your singing/guitar/instrumentation. It's not about being technically good, but I'm sure you already know that.
First song becomes cool when it reaches the chaotic point. These guys could become really good, but I think they fall short on this release. Singing is a little too derivative as well. Some cool parts where it really works nevertheless.
