Pinata is definitely best hip hop AOTY though...its in my top 5 albums of the year ATM, i really love it. not much else has really stood out, although I have high hopes for Kendrick, and Vince Staples new EP isnt horrible

I would hardly call NOTM hip hop. Just because it has rapping in it doesnt mean it's hip hop. I'd probably call the first half of big dipper hip hop, but not much else.

CLPPNG was really good but had some major downfall, specifically some of the features and the aborition of a song titled "Tonight".
New RTJ will undoubtedly be great, but i don't think it will really go out and do too much unique or anything. Kanye and kendrik are certainly something to look out for. Who knows, kendricks or yeezys new shit might be the best hip hop of the year. But most likely it won't, i still give my hip hop AOTY to >>50656489

I wouldn't call it a perfect album but, i can't really find any complaints about it at the same time. Incredibly unique, creative, and attention grabbing.
