Most of my lists are just personal opinions, I don't usually state outright that I think one thing is objectively better or worse than another thing.

I respect people who have skills as a producer but if I don't like the music, I tend not to care so much about how well it's produced. For example I think Shackleton is honestly one of a kind and is capable of stuff that the vast majority wouldn't be able to dream of. In the late 90s, Jump Up. In the early 00s, UKG with MCs. In the mid to late 00sm Grime. In the late 00s, Brostep. And at that point my A-levels were over and I stated uni so I didn't really keep in touch with what chavs listened to because I barely saw any around anymore.

It's really liked WLFGRL, very "next level" in the production. A few of his tracks (Out by 16, Ghosts) kinda gives me that Lone vibe with a harder edge.it's just some dude in upstate NY.

It used to be spammed so much on here that I thought it was some weird new /mu/-core. It was only when someone described it to me that I thought it might be something I'd like and I listened and thought it was quality. No one really mentions it anymore since it gets quite a negative knee jerk reaction from all the previous spamming it got.

I hadn't heard of Spinscott but that sounded great. I really need more of Jungle / Footwork (actual Jungle/Footwork that is), other than a few select tracks and Om Unit I don't even think I've heard a full EP of it.

Also on re-listening to it, I think the new DJ Roc album might be a contender for Footwork AOTY with Audio Fixx 2 and Overdose on TEKLIFE 2.
