The average quality in these thread always surprise me. It's a real shame that it's really hard to get your shit heard now.
Anyway, my album is free/got Cd's for a couple of dollars
>death pop / electroclash / chiptune / kids yelling
Got some BIG things in the works, you suckers just wait.
Sounds like Silent Hill meets The Nightmare Before Christmas
Some of the only Vaporwave I like right here
Some old faves
A new fave
This is already in the backlog brah
Just had a chat to you in the other thread, bedtime sleepyhead.

It's quite relevant to the discussion since we are talking about album covers which potentially don't represent their respective music accurately. But truth be told: opinions about art are irrelevant. Now opinions on mathematics are much easier to pin down since they can be easily verified as both logically valid or invalid AND true or false.
Nah. They are both irrelevant and subjective. Your wishful thinking just wants them to be relevant. And let's be honest, you and I both want to hear good opinions about our music so that we feel validated in creating it. But that doesn't make them relevant.
I don't even make music, I was commenting on someone's album cover looking amateurish.
I don't believe the opinion is all that irrelevant if you're posting a link to your music and asking for feedback. The feedback people ask for are opinions, and therefore if someone says "Oh the music is nice but the album cover is off-putting", although its the artist's choice to dismiss the feedback, it'd be a bit redundant to do so as what would be the point of wanting feedback if you couldn't handle hearing something you didn't want to hear?
Maybe you're right about everything. Now I wonder what I'm doing wasting my time here looking for opinions from people who, like you, probably don't even make music. So what weight would their uninformed opinion carry anyway? Does their opinion matter just because they listen to music and are a fan of music??
> Now I wonder what I'm doing wasting my time here looking for opinions from people who, like you, probably don't even make music
> So what weight would their uninformed opinion carry anyway
It's as simple as someone saying they like this or that about your sound, and that or this about what they don't like about it. Even if you don't make music, you can tell what you enjoy and what you don't enjoy in the music you hear.
But hey, if you're going to assume everyone is uneducated in sound because they don't personally make music, that's even more off-putting when listening to your work, knowing you don't really care what your potential fans might think. Way to sound like a pretentious twat, buddy.
>post-modern concrete music, something like that
The guy's got a point though. If you're going to insult people who listen to you music, or you're not going to take feedback with a pinch of salt if someone says something you don't want to hear, you're probably not going to get far or improve much.
>>Holy Hell WTF Have I Just Listened To?
i'm in the thread for free music, who cares if you make music or not, these threads are for anybody to share their music and for anybody to listen. nobody even mentioned yeezus you dumb cunt
I make music and agree with the point made by the other guy, though. I want anyone to listen to my stuff and to share what they like or don't like in my sound. That way I can try improving on my next release, y'know? Insulting your listeners isn't cool.
>a selection of instrumental pieces that will wrap you in a cosmic blanket
best post i've ever read in this thread
best post i've read since that last part...except for the insulting my listeners part. fuck that, i'll insult my listeners all day. fuck all yall.
and for the record i am:
sorry no BC right now
> folk, lo-fi, country, indie, arrested development season 5 OST
I'll sign anything you give me. I love you~

lol is this your band ? I discovered it in June while browsing the art punk tag. Now I'm listening to that Miley Cyrus song all the fucking time.
>lol is this your band
Yup. As the name shows, I'm Harvey. I play the guitar and sing MOST of the stuff.
But hey! Thanks for the support! I'm surprised so many people like Miley Cyrus.
>the song, not the person.
>although I am surprised about that, too
Not really. A lot of idiots kept hearing stuff like Miley Cyrus and they thought it was a tribute to her.
Aside from that, I may have said "fuck" a couple times in the songs... covering our asses in case people we know get butthurt.
btw here is my mucis
>basement beats, witch noise
Jesus christ why is this guy so fucking rustled
>experimental psychedelic dreamjazz
>atmospheric/minimalist folk, psych folk
Also I'm releasing an ambient album made using songs from my original album at postpleasancehouse.bandcamp.com
psych-y, indie'ish rock muic
>beats, instrumental hip-hop
>Noise Pop, Shoegaze, Dream Pop
Tried to do something similar to A Winged Victory For The Sullen, its alright I guess
Vol 1 is pop-rock and Vol 2 is post-music with black metal influence. We're releasing it as a 2CD box set in a few months via Satanica Records and a possible vinyl release through a Ukranian label.
>Thrashy guitar pop demo
This is just a bedroom demo we made. We're saving to do a full album with a professional engineer.
>pop, lofi, surf, drunk
release a few days ago
>synth drones to either get comfy to or kill yourself to
>minimal electronic, ambient, idm, avant-garde
>idm, minimal synth, ambient, experimental
Nice refference to a great poem!
The ambience here is really nice, portalize was a really really cool track. Quite unique!
here's my band
>bedroom-Shoegaze, indie-folk, bedroom rock
>psych folk, basement folk, noise drone field recordings
>electronic, ambient, experimental, droney soundscapes, noisy
Alternating long and short songs. Emphasis on texture and immersion.
>bedroom-Shoegaze, indie-folk, bedroom rock lo-fi lofi lofi
Still here, plugging away like I got something real to say.
> Indie rock that dresses up like synthpop
> Electronic singer-songwriter who really wants to make pop music but calls it "indie" so that you assume it sounds like it does on purpose.
>sampling (touche amore, radiohead, aaliyah)
I remember when mcy first came out. still cool and very interesting.
>ambient, eletronic shit, me expirementing with random objects.
Weston Adam - Private Internal Suicide
>drone, experimental, beautiful, noise, atmospheric, depressive
>guitar-pop, punk rhythm, jazz harmony
Guys, I know you all don't care, but I just released my first full-length album. It took me two years.
I'm not a professional but this was really fun and I just need to hear some feedback. I kinda want to know I didn't absolutely waste my time.
>ambient, experimental I guess
I dig your sound. quite simplistic but still very fun and I have such a musical hard on for that lowkey 808 style drums with the really cutting bass
10$ is a bit steep though broski
Collect email addresses.
Market merchandise aggressively.
Alternatively, charge whatever you want and make sure there's a healthy torrent of your music available.
People gotta live with music to love it. Later, they buy things to declare that love. Play the long game.
also new track @ https://soundcloud.com/pbbanks/es-que-no-soy-el-tipo-de-mujer-que-quieres
I'm glad! you have quite the unique sound, I can't say I've heard anyone exactly like it. especially the way you use those sorta lo fi synths with the really fuzzed out sound like on casanova. were you classically trained/ your melodies are very classical. and honestly, my personal decision is to leave it at pay what you want. it gives you the best exposure for listeners without the money, which could expose them to listeners who do have the money, and if someone really does like your music and wants to support it, they'll pay.
this is really fucking cool! surprisingly chill I kinda expected muderous death noise from that cover. love your drums and your affinity for those arpeggiated/stuttering synths
no problem broski my stuff is here
>Alt Grunge-Reminiscent Punk-Esque Absurdities
Guys we're making a label
respond for more info, I suppose
not bad. really good melody writing but this is definitely neither grunge nor punk. definitely pop punk. that first song sounds so blink 182 it's insane
hey >>49345477 here, I'm in talks to go into a web label rn but if that falls through I'll check yall out. got an email or something?
>brutal fagcore, dark ambient dildocore, spermcore, shit only a fag would listen to
As soon as it happens, I'll release it.
We're, in our usual general hectic way, trying to make a label for reals. /mu/ will finally be a board that accomplishes a thing.
We should make an email account.
Made with a mate after a night out. We don't like feminists.
Building up to a full EP just added another track to it
>Indie lo-fi shoegaze soul rock, psychedelic, ambient, folk, freak folk, electronic ambient, 50min concept LP, maybe too ambitious a project who knows
> bedroom psychedelic pop, electronic, sad/sweet/pretty
>experimental, break beats, electronic, really good
>dark, experimental hip hop
>kinda like: lil ugly mane, death grips, yung lean/spooky black
the album has a thematic progression to it, I guess it's a concept album.
the music is completely serious but i like wacky artwork and titles and stuff, i know that's probably not a good combination but whatever. i am new to design though, i just made it in photoshop lol
Yeah, I've got three other albums completed, but I can't upload that shit yet because I need to get 20$ in purchases in order to upload the tracks themselves because they are too big for bandcamp's current limit.
I'm always working on new stuff though, I've got some other singles ready to upload whenever I pass that limit, and a hip-hop record I've been working on which will be up whenever it's completed, but this one could be a while since my background has little hip-hop production.
let us know what it do
>harsh noise, glitch elements, free
>no-fi, emo, folk, drone, pop?
this is really good. Recommending .
>Hypnagogic Pop, Haunted Ballroom, Glo-fi, Chillwave
Purr Tapes wanted to release my new album but then they split up, and I just released it. A tape release would still be grand. Info can be found on my bandcamp, soundcloud and facebook.
you can email me directly through bandcamp, interested,
And back with some feedback
Really like this sound, great job.
This guy has some interesting ideas and I'm looking forward to see how he develops.
Sort of reminded me of Small Black's first EP, Comfy.
Your picture perfectly describes your music
Also reminds me a bit of Heroin and Your Veins
>just changed name, you've possibly checked it before, apologies
sup with this label? do you plan on physical or digital releases? is there a website?
im only down if you can promise me a vinyl release of all my classic hits that has an etched hologram, the label has a song in it, side B plays backwards from the center to the edges, and you can get me a spot on jimmy kimmel/fallon to hype it. make it happen, then we'll talk.
This is Girls With Depression.
I don't understand what your label is going to be/do/accomplish. You seem to have requested the partnership of musicians in a million different genres and I'm guessing you're not funded for anything in particular.
That said, I'm not one to miss out any opportunities and I can always just make more music if my release on your label is a huge waste of time.
I'm probably in.
>electronic, experimental, ambient, bass music, chillwave, 808, sampling
>experimental, dark ambient, drone, ambient, improvisation, minimal, noise, soundscape
>Electric guitars, minimal, Ambient rock duo
